The world's largest and most innovative spokesmodel search, Ms. Planet Beach International, began in 2003 with one competition in Pensacoloa, Florida. Franchisees, Travis York, and Will Hutchinson, pioneered the idea of hosting a regional Ms. Planet Beach, and it was a huge success. Later the same year, Planet Beach crowned its very first Ms. Planet Beach International, Heather Johnson. Since that time, Ms. Planet Beach has grown into a successful international spokesmodel search, hosting over 50 contestants at Internationals.

Each year, Planet Beach Contempo Spas throughout the world hold preliminary competitions to launch the search for Planet Beach's next spokesmodel. The Ms. Planet Beach International competition, a charitable event, is aimed at finding someone who truly represents the Planet Beach brand and lifestyle to become the face and voice of the world's largest Contempo Spa Franchise - Planet Beach!

The Top 12 Contestants from Internationals also receive a special honor, their own month in the Annual Ms. Planet Beach International Calender.

The Ms. Planet Beach International title holders have found great success since their reigns, from filming their own workout video to appearing in primetime television.
